<p>Iconic&nbsp;British singer-songwriter Elton John discussed in a recent public appearance his health condition after suffering from a "severe eye infection".</p>
<p>At a gala performance for the musical adaptation of "The Devil Wears Prada", the 77-year-old artist said, " I haven&rsquo;t been able to come to many of the previews because, as you know, I have lost my eyesight,&nbsp;so it&rsquo;s hard for me to see it. But I love to hear it and boy it sounded good tonight".</p>

<p>Elton John mentioned in September that his eye got infected and he had been battling the illness over the summer, which had left him with "limited vision in one eye.", he said "I am healing, but it&rsquo;s an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye" he added.</p>
<p>Last November he gave his fans another update saying that&nbsp;it has been &ldquo;four months now&rdquo; since he&rsquo;s been unable to see properly.&nbsp;</p>
