Dressed in golden ensembles inspired by Ancient Egyptian aesthetics, the duo performed on the museum&rsquo;s main stage as massive screens behind them illuminated breathtaking visuals of Egypt&rsquo;s treasures, from the timeless artifacts of King Tutankhamun to scenes celebrating the grandeur of the nation&rsquo;s civilization.

Egypt Weather | Cairo Records 28°C as Egypt Enjoys Mild Autumn Conditions – 30 October

Egypt is counting down to one of the most anticipated cultural events of the decade; the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Set to become the largest archaeological museum in the world, the GEM marks a defining moment in Egypt&rsquo;s modern cultural and tourism landscape.
The museum&rsquo;s administration announced that it will suspend its trial operations from 15 October to 3 November in preparation for the grand opening. The museum will reopen to the public on 4 November 2025, following an official inauguration ceremony.
The Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza Pyramids, will house thousands of artefacts, including the complete collection of Tutankhamun&rsquo;s treasures, many of which will be displayed to the public for the first time.
In its latest statement, the administration also detailed the official operating hours starting 4 November:
