Al-Bish&rsquo;a is a centuries-old ritual once practiced in Sinai, Upper Egypt, and parts of the Levant. When evidence was lacking, a specialist (Al-Mubshi&rsquo;) would heat a metal rod (Maysam) until it glowed red-hot. The accused was then warned: confess the truth or risk burning their tongue. Though rarely practiced today,&nbsp;Zolem El-Mastaba&nbsp;revives this unsettling custom, highlighting its deep-rooted place in Arab folklore and the lingering power of suspicion and revenge.
